This onboarding and changelog sequence uses Duolingo's mascot, Duo, dressed as a wizard to guide returning users through new features. The animation transitions seamlessly between a purple background and a phone mockup. Duo flies around, peeks over the edges of the mockup, and uses a magic wand to trigger transitions, morphing screens, and UI reveals. The sequence concludes with Duo morphing into the classic app icon shape before transitioning to the standard white splash screen.
