The Duolingo mascot, Duo, performs a joyful celebratory jump in the center of the screen to reward the user's progress. The animation features classic squash-and-stretch physics as Duo bounces up and down with flapping wings. After completing the celebration, the mascot quickly slides downwards out of the viewport, transitioning the user back to the main lesson interface.
