In the Droplay music player, users can change the currently playing track by dragging a vinyl disc from the bottom carousel and dropping it onto the main player. As the user drags, the selected disc scales up and follows the touch gesture. Upon release over the main player, the old disc scales down and fades out while the new disc smoothly snaps into place, scales up to full size, and begins spinning. The track metadata crossfades to display the new song information.
