In the Threads composer, users can long-press and drag media cards to rearrange their order. Upon holding a card, it lifts with a subtle scale-up and shadow effect. As it is dragged horizontally, adjacent cards dynamically slide and shift out of the way using smooth spring physics to preview the new layout. Releasing the card snaps it into place with a satisfying settle.
