The How We Feel emotion picker uses fluid, physics-based motion to guide users through selecting their current mood. Users transition from a high-level four-quadrant view to dense, floating clusters of specific emotions. Tapping a quadrant triggers a dramatic zoom and scale transition, scattering the circles into an organic, drifting layout. Dragging or panning across these clusters causes the circles to wiggle, collide elastically, and drift with natural inertia, making the exploration of complex emotions feel tactile, playful, and deeply engaging.
