In Google Chrome's tab switcher, users can drag any regular tab card down toward a dedicated 'Drag tab here to pin it' target area at the bottom of the screen. As the card is dragged, it scales down. Upon entering the target area, the zone morphs into a blue active state containing the tab preview. When released, the tab smoothly animates and scales up to join the pinned tabs row at the top of the grid, while the remaining regular tabs fluidly slide to rearrange and fill the vacant space.
