When the user moves a chess piece to capture an opponent's piece, the captured piece disappears in a stylized, cartoonish cloud burst (puff of smoke) animation. Simultaneously, the colorful progress bar at the top of the screen fills up to indicate progress. The character mascot changes expression to celebrate the success, and a green success banner slides up smoothly from the bottom of the screen with a subtle spring bounce, presenting the 'Nicely done!' message and a 'CONTINUE' button.
