During an onboarding or map generation phase, the app displays a progress bar at the bottom of a map view. As the progress bar fills, different categories of map pins (saved spots, friends' places, trending spots) pop onto the map with a springy scale-up animation. Once the data is fully loaded, the background map dims under a deep blue gradient overlay, and the loading pill smoothly morphs into a prominent 'let me in' button, signaling completion.
